Exercise of options and Total Voting Rights

Blackbird plc (AIM: BIRD), the developer and seller of the market-leading cloud video editing platform, Blackbird(R), announces that it has issued and allotted 250,000 ordinary shares of 0.8p each in the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") following an exercise of options on 13 May 2020. The exercise price was 6p per New Ordinary Share.

The New Ordinary Shares have been issued pursuant to the exercise of options awarded to a former employee under the Company's existing share option scheme. The New Ordinary Shares rank, pari passu, in all respects with the Company's existing ordinary shares. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that admission of the 250,000 New Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM will become effective on, or around, 19 May 2020 ("Admission").

Total voting rights

Following Admission, the issued share capital of the Company will consist of 335,489,092 ordinary shares of 0.8p each ("Ordinary Shares"), with one voting right per share. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury.

Therefore, the total number of Ordinary Shares and voting rights in the Company will be 335,489,092. From Admission, this figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
