Volkswagen AG's (VOW.XE) Seat brand said Tuesday that President Luca de Meo is stepping down.

The Spanish car maker said that Seat Vice President for Finance Carsten Isensee would replace Mr. de Meo on an interim basis.

Mr. de Meo will remain as a member of the group until further notice, the company added.
