Bayer AG (BAYN.XE) said Thursday that it had appointed Bijoy Sagar as new chief information technology and digital transformation officer, effective June 1.

Mr. Sagar will succeed Daniel Hartert who is going to retire from his corporate career, the German pharmaceutical and chemical giant said.
