(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be sealed on 1 August between Toga Limiteds (OTC: TOGL) wholly- owned subsidiary, TOGL Technology Sdn Bhd (TOGL Technology), and INTI International College Subang, for the Annual Yippi Sticker Contest, beginning 1 August to mid-December 2021.
The MOU provides both parties an opportunity to initiate joint projects such as promotional programs and activities, on top of the institutions panel of judges who will be assessing and evaluating all competition entries.
This is our fourth year organizing the Yippi Sticker Contest, where we are able to provide a platform for highly creative groups to express their creativity and inspiration to the fullest through their sticker creations and meet like-minded artistic individuals.
This MOU represents our continued collaboration with local universities such as INTI, and our commitment in providing an outlet for young people to tap into their creativity. This in turn increases our collection of stickers so as to provide our Yippi users with a better engagement experience as communication technology continues to advance and the sticker collections evolve with it, said TOGL Technology Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Edward Ng Boon Chee.
INTI International College Subang, which is part of the INTI International University & Colleges under the HOPE Education Group, offers an extensive array of pathways to graduate from high-quality and career-oriented academic programs including pre-university to postgraduate courses in various academic disciplines. $TOGL Toga Limited’s Yippi App Employs Electronic Know Your Customer Technology to Expediate Its User Onboarding Process

(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Toga Limited (OTC: TOGL) through its wholly-owned subsidiary, TOGL Technology Sdn Bhd, collaborate with a renowned cloud computing company and an electronic Know-Your-Customer (e-KYC) technology provider to expediate the online process of identifying and verifying individuals from five days to 24 hours, for its social media mobile app, Yippi.
The strategic partnership enables Yippi customer service (CS) team to reduce the turnaround time for the online process of identifying and verifying individuals anytime and anywhere, as the e-KYC system allows new users to open a Yippi account and verify their identities simply by scanning their national identity card and taking a photo.
"With the e-KYC system in place, we are able to reduce identity fraud by means of its comprehensive ID document security check; comprehensive artificial intelligence (AI) model specifically facial recognition, and risk engine that can identify frauds automatically, hence speeding up approval notifications for our CS team with the necessary information to approve or reject applications, as needed," said TOGL Technology Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Freddy Chia Kah See.
Additionally, under special circumstances, our team also conducts e-KYC to utilize technology like AI, machine learning and predictive algorithms to manage the process, he added.
"The introduction of e-KYC is also in line with our efforts to facilitate greater digital offerings of Yippi services, and we expect it will pave the way to greater innovation in the social media app sector, including end-to-end offerings of digital services for our users," said Mr. Chia.
Yippi applies an e-KYC digital and remote online solution system, which combines biometrics security technology, "spoof detection" and optical character recognition. Biometric security analyzes the unique characteristics of a person, such as ones voice, iris or fingerprints. Spoof detection, also called liveness, entails a user responding to a challenge, such as blinking on cue, which is an action impossible for a static image a fraud might use. Optical character recognition transforms a picture of an ID card into text that can be compared against a database for name and identity verification.

(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) Toga Limiteds (OTC: TOGL) wholly-owned subsidiary, TOGL Technology Sdn Bhd (TOGL Technology) participated in a virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), wholly owned by UTAR Education Foundation, on 20 May 2021. The MOU virtual signing ceremony was participated and executed by Mr. Edward Ng Boon Chee, TOGL Technologys Chief Operating Officer, Ir. Prof. Dr. Ewe Hong Tat (UTAR President), and witnessed by Ir. Prof. Dr. Yow Ho Kwang (UTAR Vice President for Internationalization and Academic Development) and Ms. Shaelyn Moo (Secretary to the CEO of TOGL Technology).
The MOU provides both parties an opportunity to initiate joint projects such as research and development (R&D); organizing academic-based programs such as short courses, seminars, talks, conferences, and workshops; and other university-industry collaborative efforts, including collaborative projects, industry advisory ventures, industry visits, curriculum development, training, and consultancy. It will also facilitate the industrial placement of UTAR students.
The MOU also includes facilitating and supporting UTAR students to conduct research on Toga Limiteds exclusive technology, Toga Resonance Technology (T-RT), explore the T-RT effects on human well-being and document any findings in a research report.

$TOGL Toga Limited’s Mobile App, Yippi Presents Yippi’s Star Quest Live Streaming Competition 2020

Understanding what appeals to and entertains the Yippi users, Toga Limited (the "Company") (OTC:TOGL) launched the first "Star Quest Live Streaming Competition" in early July 2020. More than 2,350 contestants from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam participated in this competition.
Star Quest is a live streaming contest available to Yippi users worldwide. Star Quest is an avenue for amateurs and online celebrities to showcase their talents in the virtual world with the opportunity to win cash and prizes. The contest also invites influencers and performing artists to campaign for the day and earn Yipps from their Yippi supporters. In addition to gaining exposure for their campaign, contestants can spend their earned Yipps on products and services within the Yippi App.
The Company developed Star Quest as a Yippi user participation contest to attract active users to the Yippi App. Star Quest required Yippi App user participation by entering as a contestant or by voting for a favorite live streamer. The Company also implemented a tipping feature which allowed a Yippi user to tip their favorite Star Quest contestant. Millions of Yipps were tipped to Star Quest contestants with the Company sharing in the revenue generated from tips.
Malaysias Masya Masyitah became the champion of Yippis Star Quest Competition 2020. The live streaming of Star Quest Finale Championship Night reached approximately 39,000 viewers across the world in one night, compared to its average audience per session of approximately 10,000 viewers for the preliminary Top 120, Top 24, Top 8, and Top 4 rounds since it went live on 1 July.
Rising singing star, Masya, competed against architect graduate, Phemarie Focasan, fondly known as Phem, from the Philippines in the Finals held on 25 October. Both contestants gave their best, trying to outperform each other in an intense 1.5 hour one-on-one duel with Masya clinching the top spot with a high score of 579,200 star points compared to Phems 545,900 star points. Masya took home over USD100,000 worth of cash and prizes, while Phem received USD80,000 worth of cash and prizes.

$TOGL Toga Limited Announces Results of Special Meeting of the Stockholders Held September 9, 2020

Toga Limited (OTC:TOGL) announced today that both proposals submitted to Toga Limiteds stockholders (the Stockholders) at a special meeting of the Stockholders held on September 9, 2020 (the Special Meeting), had passed. Information regarding these proposals was included in Toga Limiteds Definitive Proxy Statement on Schedule 14A, as filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on July 27, 2020.
The Special Meeting was held in a virtual setting in order to proactively protect the health and well being of the Stockholders that participated in the meeting. At the Special Meeting, there were 48,752,624 shares of common stock represented either by proxy or in person of the 91,130,986 shares of common stock entitled to vote, constituting a quorum (53.50% shares voted).
At the Special Meeting, the following proposals were approved as follows:
Proposal No. 1: The approval and adoption of the Long-Term Incentive Plan was approved by the Stockholders by a vote of (a) 48,723,987 in favor, (b) 10,000 against, and (c) 5,450 abstaining.
Proposal No. 2: The amendment and restatement of Toga Limiteds Articles of Incorporation (the Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation) to divide and designate the 1,000,000,000 shares of Toga Limiteds common stock into two classes, consisting of 500,000,000 shares of Class A voting common stock, and 500,000,000 shares of Class B non-voting common stock, and establish the rights and preferences for such classes was approved by the Stockholders by a vote of (a) 48,724,237 in favor, (b) 10,000 against, and (c) 5,200 abstaining.
In connection with Proposal No. 2, Toga Limited filed the Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation with the Secretary of the State of Nevada. A copy of the Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation was attached as Exhibit 3.1 to Toga Limiteds Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission today.
Upon completion of voting on the above proposals, Dr. Steve Tan, Toga Limiteds Group General Manager, answered questions from the Stockholders. Mr. Michael Toh, the Chief Executive Officer of Toga Limited also addressed Toga Limiteds anticipated path forward post Covid-19, including Toga Limiteds growth outlook for existing business segments, diversification into new business areas, and mission to be the largest App in South East Asia.
