Roche Develops PCR Tests to Detect Monkeypox Virus

Roche Holding AG said Wednesday that it has developed three PCR
tests to detect the monkeypox virus amid an unusual outbreak around
the world.
The Swiss pharma major said it has developed three different
LightMix Modular Virus testing kits in response to the recent
concerns about the virus.
"Use of these new research test kits assess the spread of the
virus and can help monitor the potential impact of therapeutics,
vaccines and public health interventions," said the company.
