Austrian oil-and-gas company OMV AG (OMV.VI) said Thursday that it signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation with Russia's Gazprom PJSC (GAZP.RS) in order to consolidate their joint activities into one coordination center.

With the agreement, the companies will create a joint coordinating committee on collaboration in the natural gas sector, science and technology, and staff training, OMV said.
