Dow Jones News
--A flash crash on Thursday saw shares of Jardine Matheson
Holdings Ltd. trade well below market level, leading Morgan Stanley
and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. to try and cancel or amend some of the
day's trades, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing "people familiar
with the matter."
--During Thursday's trading session on the Singapore exchange,
about 167,500 Jardine Matheson shares, which closed the previous
day at $66.47, traded at $10.99, the report said.
--It wasn't clear what factors led to the fall in the share
price, the report said.
--Shares of Jardine Matheson briefly fell sharply, but recovered
to close little changed, the report said.
