Infineon Technologies AG (IFX.XE) said Friday that it has been selected as a partner in Volkswagen AG's (VOW.XE) strategic supplier network for future technologies, Future Automotive Supply Tracks.

Infineon said it supplies power control modules for the drives in Volkswagen's MEB electric-vehicle platform.

"As part of FAST, Infineon and Volkswagen will also discuss future semiconductor requirements," it added.
