Hon Hai Precision Industries Co Ltd "Foxconn" did itself in and got greedy. Now this Hillbilly Horse Shit has ruined any reputation it may have had, being honest with it's business partners and agreements. Now, nobody trusts Hon Hai Precision Industries "Foxconn" as an EV manufacturer.

The Taiwan phone maker destroyed itself with Lordstown Motors and is questionable as a partner as even Fisker is now tanking with plans to manufacture the Pear very unstable.

Lordstown Motors even had World Bank at the table for finance and Foxconn got to greedy and lost the Endurance assets and manufacturing agreements all together.

They still haven't secured the Lordstown Plant by failing to pay LMC for agreement price tag.

Phones and EV's are two different animals. Foxconn poor management decisions may cost them everything.

bar1080, yes! I would say that they are promoting Hon Hai Precision Industries as they can always hide behind there disclaimer statement. Just checking to see if anything is different this time around concerning Hon Hai Precision Industries’s current increased business and revenue coming in situation compared to the past.

Oxford Club was heavily promoting this stocks for several years as a one stop retirement solution ( a dangerous thing to claim). During that time it's gone almost no where and generally lagged a simple low cost S&P 500 index fund. Is Oxford still pumping this?

Is anyone still following this company, and if so, do you have any thoughts on, is it better, if shares of this company are purchased as HNHAF, purchased directly on the TWSE for US folks, or purchased through The US OTC with ticker symbol HNHPF? Thank you.

"Foxconn is scaling back plans for a liquid-crystal-display plant in Wisconsin, saying it expects to invest a fraction of the $10 billion promised nearly four years ago, according to a new contract with the state.

The electronics maker, formally known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. 2317 -1.64% , negotiated a new economic-development deal on Tuesday with the state of Wisconsin that was a shadow of the record-setting incentives package announced in the summer of 2017.

Foxconn, the world’s biggest electronics contract manufacturer, now plans to invest as much as $672 million and create 1,454 jobs by the year 2025 to qualify for $80 million in incentives, according to the contract.

The company previously agreed to invest as much as $10 billion and hire 13,000 people by the year 2032 to qualify for $2.85 billion in incentives.

The Foxconn deal was originally struck by the company’s former chairman and founder, Terry Gou, and former Republican Gov. Scott Walker, who lost his post in 2018 to Democrat Tony Evers. The deal was announced at the White House and touted by then-President Trump as a pillar of the administration’s plan to boost U.S. manufacturing jobs."

I’m a CC member since 2016. I’ve picked up some very good ideas from them. Didn’t bite on this one and pass on many. But I do follow a large basket of their suggestions I like and buy when prices present an opportunity.

All companies in Japan, Taiwan etc pay dividends once a year. Most of the stocks I picked up from Oxford have done well. Good Luck

I know this is good news. I saw your post about how to buy this stock. Definitely a convoluted approach but I've bought two groups of shares so far under this ticker and I received the dividend this past July - works for me. This group only distributes dividends once year from what I can tell.

I was once a member of Oxford too for a very short period of time. I had to stop due to being overwhelmed by email. This stock was my prize when I signed up.

Foxconn Sells Alibaba Shares for $195.7 Million

Foxconn Technology Group said Thursday that it sold 630,000 shares of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. in the U.S. for $195.7 million.

The Taiwanese electronics maker, formally known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., said it sold American depositary shares at $310.68 each and made investment gains of $130.1 million based on acquisition cost.

Oxford is not touting either HNHAF or HNHPF. Oxford is actually telling you to buy 2317.TW which trades on the Japanese market. Their reason is because it is much more liquid. When buying HNHPF you are actually buy 2 shares of 2317.TW. The problem I had with buying shares on the Japanese exchange was it cost me $192 to execute the trade. ( I went through Fidelity) I am a happy with the recommendation I am up 19% since the beginning of Oct. Just be aware that trading begins at 8PM EST, so any trade you do today will not get executed until the next day trading in Japan. Also, Oxford claims a 4% dividend, I think that was a distribution for fractional shares created by a stock split. I am up on all Oxford recommendations.

Is Foxconn involved with 5th generation tech?
If not they should be with all their so called pattens.

Just questioning why Oxford is putting a 3.00 price range
on their recommendation which reflects HNHAF and not HNHPF.
I am not invested either but waiting and watching the Trump/China
tariff fight to be resolved. Meanwhile, I am watching both tickers.

I'm an unwilling Oxford Club member. In fact I have been informed I am in the Chairman's Circle. Thanks dad? I have a hard time with this being on the OTC and its even worse on the pinks? Seems to me if Samsung wants to take the company to NASD. The would have an IPO for that and let this languish in the pinks. In 6 months this ticker has gone nowhere. IMO just because its an Oxford recco does not make it gold.

HNHAF is probably the one Oxford club is touting because of
the 3 dollar price range.
Both have a very large outstanding share structure.

I sold my shares just because its hard to figure out what's what. And very little movement. So I don't know.

What is the ticker HNHAF which appears on my watch list
but with 0 bid/ask and its 2.31 price. With volume running around 60,000 daily?

Graham, a Columbia University econ professor was a billionaire (adjusted for inflation) and Buffett is worth nearly $100 billion. That book is standard fare in many college investing courses and Buffett re-reads it every year. It's easy reading and quite interesting. Learn from the best, not the Oxford Club... or the penny stock shills in this neighborhood.

He wanted 500 shares gave me $2500 and said buy it. I only bought half and told my dad all the good news I found out about HNHPF. There wasn't any.

This place sure is full of excitement. I don't know about this ticker, but my dad who is a Oxford member just had to throw some money at it. He thinks its going to be gold. I reserve my judgement. Foxconn on the stinky pinkies trading as Hon Hai Huey Lewis and the news with 17 Billion outstanding, and won't say what is authorized. So picked up 250 shares against my better judgement. I guess we will find out? Kicking board!
