Statement from 18th February 2018 by Ian Hanomansing,of CBC news clearly states Ross is fully engaged in moving forward with Ross Gold, yet that is not the message he sent to his GHIL shareholders.

"As soon as the federal government legalizes marijuana, he says the empty shelves of his Kelowna store will be stocked.

Right now, it's all gleaming glass shelves and polished wood. The concept, he explains, is the cannabis equivalent of a high-end wine store.

The goal is a chain of stores across the country and beyond."


Heard from someone that tried to help Ross in the early days as an initial subscriber that the Rossā€™ Gold trademark was sold recently from Green & Hill Industries, Inc to a corporation in Canada for a whopping $10. Who would do that unless they were just transferring assets to another company and leaving shareholders behind - This appears shady amongst other things.

Interesting. Wonder who the new owners are - some of the same old ones. Did the company assets of GHIL just get transferred somehow. Do you know the name of the private company. I bought shares 2 years ago in the open market and seems like can't just be transferred.

Company Update 14th August 17

Does anyone have an update on the Company and can post here

I sent in a query last month but have not received back any updates - perhaps my email has fed into a spam folder at the company for some reason. I purchased shares when the stock was trading on the pink sheets in early 2016.

Thanks in advance for any positive response one may have and can provide.

Yes and no response. I know Ross is busy. Not sure who else is responsible for keeping a fluid correspondence with current shareholders. I suspect it should be the CFO or someone closely affiliated.

Update on Company Operations, Goals, Equity

Anyone know anything about the current operations. I've had zero success getting an update. Also, will the stock ever be uplisted because I can't seem to find a market or offer to buy shares and my bid can't be disseminated whilst the shares are on the grey sheets.

Anyone have an Update on Ross's Gold and it's stock?

Is there any transparency on what is going on? Someone showed me a December 2016 shareholder update but that is the last I've heard. It said the goal was to have 15 stores open by Spring 2017. I'm not sure that goal was met. If goals aren't met, maybe the owner will shakeup management....or maybe not.

Dear Ross,

Time for a new CFO - the problem is, from looking at the filings, you made a deal with the devil and cannot remove him easily - probably not the smartest business decision to not have the ability to change management but we all make mistakes. The capital structure awarded WAY too much ownership to someone that has proven quite ineffective in 4 years.

I will email you directly with some suggestions for new financial management, an uplisting, and also have a strategy to create a new entity with an uplisting without involving a capital structure that is disadvantageous to you. I'm fairly certain your "partner" will not step down. This company is yours and this is YOUR brand, not someone elses.

You do need to do something to get bring back value to all of your friends and family that were involved in the original subscription - don't forget about them.

Olympic snowboarding gold medal winner Ross Rebagliati recommends moderate cannabis usage as a healthy alternative to ingesting alcohol or prescription drugs.

Long before professional athletes like Michael Phelps and the Diaz brothers were open about using cannabis, Ross Rebagliati was cast into the public spotlight for a practice that few would deem synonymous with increased athletic abilityā€”but for the Olympian, smoking pot has proven to be just that.


The first person ever to win a gold medal for snowboarding in the Olympicsā€”and to be stripped of said medal for smoking marijuana, only to later have it reinstatedā€”Rebagliati is eager to share the benefits of using what he refers to as a performance-enhancing substance.

ā€œFrom my own experience, Iā€™ve found that it helps me really focus on my workoutsā€”not just when Iā€™m there [at the gym], but also to get me there in the first place,ā€ the athlete and entrepreneur tells the Georgia Straight from his home in Kelowna.

ā€œIt gives me that extra little bit of inspiration and motivation to get out and do it again for the millionth time,ā€ he adds.

Itā€™s precisely that induced excitement, Rebagliati says, that helped make him faster and stronger in his training leading up to the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano.

Although Rebagliati, 45, is no longer preparing for international competitions with gruelling three-hour-a-day, six-day-a-week workouts, he still likes to use cannabis for endurance sports like cycling.

Using a vaporizer that he conveniently stores in his jersey while on the road, Rebagliati says a good puff not only helps block the pain of lactic-acid buildup in his muscles but also sets him in motion to surpass his previous dayā€™s mileage.

ā€œThere are moments when I start to say ā€˜That was good, you can turn around now,ā€™ but instead I tell myself ā€˜Letā€™s beat yesterdayā€™s time,ā€™ ā€ he says.

Without naming names, he says heā€™s aware of many athletes who use cannabis to give them added drive and to help manage pain, but he notes that more often than not, dollars and cents get in the way of their ability to publicly advocate for the drugā€™s benefits.

ā€œThere are athletes in all sorts of different positions, with sponsorships and contracts, and sometimes they say things about cannabis use, but a lot of times, they arenā€™t in a position to speak out because theyā€™re worried about losing corporate relationships,ā€ he says. ā€œI donā€™t feel like I have anything to lose.ā€

Asked if he thinks athletes will ever reach a point where they can be open about getting high, he points to the increased use of marijuana by seniors as an indicator of whatā€™s to come for the sports world.

ā€œThe senior population is coming around, which might go against peopleā€™s intuition, but if you look at it pragmatically, theyā€™ve gone down the pharmaceutical road their whole lives, so with the research coming out and it being natural, it makes sense.ā€

For Rebagliati, the notion that cannabis can be part of a healthy lifestyle for athletes and couch potatoes alike isnā€™t a foreign one.

Itā€™s precisely this idea that Rebagliati hopes to deliver through his company, aptly named Rossā€™ Gold. ā€œWe champion medicinal cannabis use in a responsible healthy fashion and promote its benefits to the athlete in all of us,ā€ its website mission statement reads.

ā€œIā€™m not marketing to athletes, but itā€™s more of a message that thereā€™s potential in each of us, and cannabis can be part of that potential,ā€ Rebagliati says.

Although the idea for Rossā€™ Gold began percolating after his rise to fame in 1998, it wasnā€™t formally launched until 2012.

With a current product line consisting of glassware, apparel, vaporizing pens, and grinders, as well as a promise that several Rebagliati-approved strains of medical-grade cannabis and cannabis extracts are on the way, he says it was hearing about patientsā€™ dissatisfaction with the mail-order cannabis stipulated by the Har-per governmentā€™s Marihuana Medical Access Regulations program that put him on the path to creating Rossā€™ Gold with business partner Patrick Smyth.

With legalization pending, Rebagliati hopes to open upwards of 100 stores through a franchising program in the next five years. The first is about to open in Kelowna.

When heā€™s not managing his business or putting miles on his bike, Rebagliati is a family man. Without hesitation, the father of three says that using cannabis makes him a better parent.

ā€œParents need every healthy advantage that they can get,ā€ he says. He notes thatā€”although being a parent is ā€œone of the best experiences in lifeā€ā€”making the most of that experience every day ā€œcan sometimes be toughā€.

Referencing the Rolling Stones song ā€œMotherā€™s Little Helperā€, Rebagliati says parents have an alternative to alcohol and prescription drugs. ā€œCannabis is a healthier choice, and really, it should be known as a family-oriented substance rather than alcohol.

ā€œItā€™s something nonaddictive, noninebriating that reduces anxiety and enables you to be a very in-tune parent, and I think more people should think of cannabis in this way,ā€ he says. ā€œIf there is a stigma, there definitely should not be.ā€

As for marijuanaā€™s rep among athletes, he encourages those who use it to continue doing what theyā€™re doing, without apology.

ā€œIn moderation, cannabis can be a really healthy part of your life, and athletes that choose cannabis over doping or painkillers should really be proud of themselves.ā€

An UPLISTING is needed for all those that have invested in this "initiative".

Who cares about no free babysitting?

Investors have invested in GHIL and it's all out a shame that the "organizers" of this "company" can look at themselves in the mirror. The CFO just eats food all the time and snowboards even though I'm surprised the weight of such snowboard can support him and he spends way too much time on social media waving his own flag.

Time for some new management.

Then, we can buy the stock...if we hear from the company and they confirm there is no debt. We sent an email but have not heard back, so guess for now, time to move on. Anyone know any other MJA names that might be more active in the space?

Thanks. I will email and see if I can get some clarity on the debt/equity issue, which is important - prefer owning equity shares of companies with no debt. That is my first guideline - debt will drive me away, just the way we've always invested in small names. Small names with debt are a red flag.

Feel potential is huge here - brand is becoming established, positioning is dependent on industry of course, with 5 US elections coming this 4-11 + 2017 potential CDA progress

Thinking about taking a size position in a few MJA stock's but not sure about company debt with GHIL ?

Anyone know if there are debt holders? Also, anyone know a cheap way to buy a stock on the grey sheets, or will this stock get uplisted anytime soon? Seems like it's been on the greys for quite awhile.

Thanks in advance for any insight. Move to legalize could be a boon for some of these small MJA companies but I'm looking for companies that are run correctly and an equity stake that will not play second fiddle to debt.
