Deutsche Post AG (DPW.XE) said Tuesday that prices for sending parcels via its mailing service DHL are going to rise in Germany due to increased personnel and transportation costs.

The German logistics company said that the prices of sending certain parcels, such as parcels of up two kilograms, will increase by an average of 3% for private customers from January next year.

Prices for several other services, such as transport insurance up to 2,500 euros ($2,784), will also increase, it said.
