CELLCOM ISRAEL ANNOUNCES PETITION AGAINST ISRAELI
MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS FOR RETURNING SUM
PAID BY SUBSIDIARY

Netanya, Israel – November 1, 2021 – Cellcom Israel Ltd. (TASE: CEL) (hereinafter: the "Company") announced today that following its previous report regarding the Israeli Ministry of Communications, or MOC's, July 2021 resolution which determines that Golan Telecom Ltd., or Golan, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, is required to return a financial benefit it previously received from the MOC in the amount of NIS 59 million, on October 31, 2021, Golan submitted an administrative petition to the Jerusalem District Court to annul the said resolution and return the sum subsequently paid by Golan, to Golan.
