Literary Agent Mickey Freiberg Joins Diverse Talent Group

Entertainment industry literary agent Mickey Freiberg, who has
represented best-selling, award-winning talent during a 30-year
career, has joined Diverse Talent Group (DTG), a subsidiary of
Diverse Media Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:DVME). Most recently,
Freiberg was President of the literary division of Acme Talent
& Literary and, for nearly two decades, was Partner at The
Artists Agency. Throughout his career, he has represented
screenwriters, authors, producers and directors and has packaged
high-profile properties for film, television, publishing and
digital media. Most recently, he packaged the A&E Network
primetime series �Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force,� which made its
premiere December 9, with clients Gary Tarpinian, its Executive
Producer, and Commander Lenny DePaul, the series� star. Freiberg�s
appointment is part of a strategic expansion underway of Diverse
Talent Group and Diverse Media Group, the multiplatform

Abdul-Jabbar; and former New York Mayor Ed Koch. He represents Joe
Pistone, the former FBI special agent who worked undercover as
Donnie Brasco, The Bonanno Family and the late Bill Bonnano,
authors of �The Good Guys� with Fisher; he also sold the underlying
rights for the Oliver Stone film �World Trade Center,� released by
Paramount Pictures in 2006. His most recent projects include Lizzie
Borden�s screenplay �No Woman No Cry,� which will be the first
authorized film biography of late reggae artist and activist Bob
Marley, to be produced by Rudy Langlais; Kevin Pappas�s
autobiography �Godfather of Night,� a Spring 2009 Random House
release; a feature version of the CBS television series �The
Equalizer� with Mace Neufeld Productions, Tony Eldridge and Michael
Sloan; a film version of Abdul-Jabbar�s book �Brothers in Arms� in
development with Alcon Entertainment, with Langlais producing and
Denzel Washington directing from a script by John Sayles and David
Chisholm. One of Freiberg�s proudest projects is the upcoming David
Permut film �Youth in Revolt,� based on the C.D. Payne novel and
brought to Permut by Freiberg�s daughter Miranda when she was 18
years old. The comedy is being produced by Permut, with the younger
Freiberg and Steve Longi co-producing and starring Michael Cera,
Steve Buscemi, Ray Liotta, Jean Smart and M. Emmet Walsh. Freiberg
joined Acme in 2002 as head of its literary department and was
named President in 2006. For 19 years, he was Partner at The
Artists Agency and also was an agent at Metropolitan Talent Agency.
