Allin Corporation to Offer Microsoft Desktop/Servers in the Cloud
Monday September 22, 2:03 pm ET
Allin forms strategic relationship with HSP Central to offer PaaS

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allin Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: ALLN - News), a Microsoft Gold Certified technology consulting company, announced today that it has formed a strategic relationship with HSP Central, also a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. This follows Allin's recent acquisition of the assets of SharePointHosting.com in further advancing Allin's entry into the Software as a Service (SaaS) market.

Tony Marron, president and founder of HSP Central, entered the rapidly growing SaaS field in 2000 by offering subscription based virtual desktops accessing secure virtual corporate LAN's. Allin will now sell HSP Central subscription services under the Allin brand.

Through HSP Central, Allin will offer virtual Microsoft desktops including all Microsoft client applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint, etc) and access to Exchange, SharePoint and File & Print Servers. Allin is provisioning an entire virtual corporate LAN or Platform, referring to it as a 'Platform as a Service' or 'PaaS'. The Allin PaaS model also includes all hosted network server maintenance and version upgrade expenses. While the offering is primarily targeted at the Small & Medium business space, Allin also plans to offer targeted platforms to the Corporate and Enterprise space, such as hosted development environments and other project based solutions.

"We are very pleased to welcome Tony and his staff to the Allin family," commented Mark Cabot, managing director of Allin's Northern California practice where HSP Central is located. "There is a clear movement in the market to Software as a Service, and HSP Central is ahead of the curve when it comes to a monthly subscription offering of virtualized desktops connected to complete corporate data networks."

Tony Marron commented, "HSP Central has been actively searching for the right partner to accelerate our subscription hosted offerings of Microsoft network services. After researching the partners in the Bay area, Allin Consulting clearly stood out as the number one choice. I am quite excited to participate in a joint effort of two Microsoft Gold Certified Partners working together with innovative techniques to meet today's IT needs for the SMB market. A centralized hosted service of virtual networks is in place with the Allin-HSP Central team. This offering provides a more simple set of flexible IT service solutions, allows any organization to take a 'green' IT approach and will save our subscribers about half the cost of traditional distributive PC/Server based networks."

Allin Corporation Announces Strong Second Quarter Results

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allin Corporation (OTC:ALLN) (BULLETIN BOARD: ALLN) , a Microsoft Gold Certified technology consulting firm, today reported results for the three months and six months ended June 30, 2008.

For the three-month and six-month periods ended June 30, 2008, revenue was $7.9 million and $16.1 million, respectively, compared to $6.8 million and $13.0 million for the three-month and six-month periods ended June 30, 2007, respectively. The Company recorded net income attributable to common shareholders in the amount of $603,000 ($0.05 per share-diluted) and $1.1 million ($0.09 per share-diluted) for the three-month and six-month periods ended June 30, 2008, respectively, compared to net income attributable to common shareholders of $45,000 ($0.01 per share-diluted) and $489,000 ($0.05 per share-diluted) for the three-month and six-month periods ended June 30, 2007, respectively.

"We are very pleased with the results for the quarter," stated Rich Talarico, Allin's chief executive officer. "Strong growth in services to the travel and leisure vertical marketplace more than offset weakness in our services focused on the financial industry. We have worked hard to create a good balance of services across vertical markets and in broader markets focused on Microsoft technologies that has enabled us to grow in the face of an increasingly weak economy. We are also very pleased with the integration of our acquisition of SharePointHosting.com during the second quarter of this year. This transaction places us in what we anticipate will be a very strong growth area going forward: Software as a Service. Finally, we are very proud to have been recognized as the Partner of the Year for the Northwest Region by Microsoft at the recent Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston. This continues a consistent tradition of recognition by Microsoft for our outstanding marketing and technical excellence."

"We expect revenues in the second half of the year to be somewhat lower than the first half due to the timing of the delivery of several large integration projects in the travel and leisure marketplace that we completed in the first half of this year and due to the continuing weakness in the general economy. We believe that there will be continued high demand for projects involving Microsoft's SharePoint software and demand for server virtualization and unified communications should begin to gain traction."

Revenue increased 17% and 24% comparing the three months and six months ended June 30, 2008, respectively, with the three months and six months ended June 30, 2007. The revenue growth occurred across each of the Company's revenue categories and was driven primarily by strong demand in the Company's interactive media practice.

Gross profit increased $753,000 (22%) and $1.6 million (24%) comparing the three and six months ended June 30, 2008, respectively, with the three and six months ended June 30, 2007, respectively. The Company's gross margin percentage remained stable at 52.7% of revenue for the first six months of 2008 compared to 52.8% of revenue in the first six months of 2007.

The Company's total selling, general and administrative expenses increased $675,000 or 23%, comparing the three months ended June 30, 2008 with the three months ended June 30, 2007. The increase was due to a number of factors including compensation related to increased technical head count, investment in sales and marketing personnel, increased rent and facilities expense and higher depreciation and amortization expense.

The Company recorded $609,000 in miscellaneous income in the second quarter of 2008 associated with the extinguishment of a liability. The Company's provision for income taxes increased $136,000 and dividends on preferred stock increased $46,000 comparing the six months ended June 30, 2008 with the six months ended June 30, 2007, while net income attributable to common shareholders increased 116% comparing the same periods.

Allin Corporation Announces Strong First Quarter Results
Wednesday May 7, 4:30 pm ET

PITTSBURGH, May 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allin Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: ALLN - News), a Microsoft Gold Certified technology consulting company, today announced financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2008.

Revenue for the three months ended March 31, 2008 was $8.2 million compared to $6.2 million for the three months ended March 31, 2007. The Company recorded net income attributable to common shareholders for the three- month period ended March 31, 2008 of $455,000 ($0.04 per share -- diluted), compared to net income attributable to common shareholders of $444,000 ($0.04 per share -- diluted) for the same period of the prior year.

Commenting on the financial results for the quarter, Rich Talarico, Allin's chief executive officer, stated, "Our organic growth continues to be very strong with a 32% increase in revenue in the first quarter of 2008 compared to a strong first quarter last year. We realized the increase across each of our revenue categories, with the increase being driven primarily by strong demand in our interactive media practice. Comparing the same periods, income from operations grew by nearly 11% while we continued to make investments in future growth opportunities such as our recently announced national Microsoft CRM initiative, which David Ritchie will lead."

Revenue for the three-month period ended March 31, 2008 increased $2.0 million or 32% compared to the same period of the prior year. The revenue growth occurred across each of the Company's revenue categories and was driven primarily by strong demand in the Company's interactive media practice.

Gross profit increased $894,000, or 26% comparing the first quarter of 2008 with the same period of the prior year. The Company's total selling, general and administrative expenses increased $804,000 or 31% comparing the quarter ended March 31, 2008 with the quarter ended March 31, 2007. The increase in selling, general and administrative expense was primarily due to an increase in head count to support the first quarter revenue growth as well as future growth, higher depreciation and amortization expense and investment in research and development supporting the Company's interactive television technology. Although the improvement in revenue and gross profit was offset to a certain extent by the increased selling general and administrative expenses, net income of $828,000 for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 was higher than net income for the same period of the prior year of $792,000.

Allin Corporation Announces Strong First Quarter Results
PITTSBURGH, May 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allin Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: ALLN), a Microsoft Gold Certified technology consulting company, today announced financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2007.
Revenue for the three months ended March 31, 2007 was $6.2 million compared to $5.0 million for the three months ended March 31, 2006. The Company recorded net income attributable to common shareholders for the three- month period ended March 31, 2007 of $444,000 ($0.04 per share - diluted), compared to net income attributable to common shareholders of $85,000 ($0.01 per share - diluted) for the same period of the prior year.
Commenting on the financial results for the quarter, Rich Talarico, Allin's chief executive officer, stated, 'We believed that the Company was well positioned coming into 2007 and are very pleased with the first quarter results. The year-to-year revenue growth of 23% for the first quarter was completely organic and we were able to increase income from operations 126% comparing the same periods. First quarter revenue was driven in a large part by demand for our services in the travel and leisure vertical market for interactive television systems. The Company also experienced very strong demand for custom application development and services offered around the Microsoft Dynamics suite of products. We expect results to remain strong in the second quarter of this year and for the full year's results to surpass last year's results at both the revenue and income from operations levels.'
Revenue for the three-month period ended March 31, 2007 increased $1.2 million or 23% compared to the same period of the prior year. The revenue growth occurred primarily in Consulting Services and Systems Integration. The growth in Consulting Services revenue was driven by demand for solutions based on custom .Net development, Microsoft SharePoint technologies, SQL Server 2005, Performance Point 2007, more complex Microsoft Dynamics SL and CRM implementations and interactive television technology. Growth in Systems Integration revenue was driven by orders for the Company's interactive television solutions in the cruise industry.
Gross profit increased $569,000, or 20% comparing the first quarter of 2007 with the same period of the prior year. The Company's gross margin percentage decreased in the first quarter of 2007 to 55.8% of revenue from 57.4% of revenue in the first quarter of 2006. The decline in the gross margin percentage is due to a change in the mix of revenue comparing the periods, with revenue for the first quarter of 2007 being comprised of a larger proportion of Systems Integration revenue, which carries a lower gross margin percentage than Consulting Services revenue.
The Company's total selling, general and administrative expenses increased $105,000 or 4% comparing the quarter ended March 31, 2007 with the quarter ended March 31, 2006. The substantial improvement in revenue and gross profit allowed the Company to realize net income of $792,000 for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 compared to $365,000 for the quarter ended March 31, 2006.
