AEY changed to AEYGQ, bankruptcy. Delisted from the Nasdaq to the OTC. Stock dropped ~55% to .26 on the news.

Yeah what the heck are people thinking?? Why would anyone chase this up 200% when the company is bankrupt, has ceased operations, and is going to be delisted next Tuesday.

Yep still holding. Unfortunately AEY didn't get that January bump that a lot of other stocks got. Markets were red hot then. Different story now. Russell getting slammed this week, and futures already pointing to another rough one tomorrow.

I think AEY looks decent into earnings on 3/21. Seasonally weaker quarter, so the bottom line might only be around breakeven. Would still be a nice improvement from the sizable loss in prior year quarter. But if the markets keep sliding between now and then, I don't know if anyone will care.

Any thoughts on the current AEY trading action? It's very i teresting to see the market tanking 500+ points and this barely drops. Looks like someone accumulating. Are you still holding?

Thanks HWEB, greatly appreciated. I've been pulling out of a lot of stagnate stocks and loaded heavy on GBTC. It's a bit of a gamble but seems to be on sale at the moment. I'll continue to hold AEY and see how Q1 plays out. Thanks again!

I'd only sell here if you desperately need a tax loss. Because AEY could easily rebound 20%+ in January when tax loss selling is over. As the company has posted 2 quarters in a row of incredible top & bottom line improvements. Q2 earnings of .07/share vs a loss from operations of ($2,101,000) last year. And Q3 earnings of .09/share (excluding a $311K gain) vs a loss from operations of ($2,235,000) last year. Just a remarkable turnaround. Probably the best financial performance I've ever seen from them...and I've followed AEY for two decades.

I thought AEY was attractive around $2 after the Q3 report last month. But then the stock got smacked down by the heavy Kershner selling, which appears to be over. Seems like an opportunity for the rest of us. Next 2 quarters are seasonally slower for their wireless segment. But it sounds like there's still plenty of room to cut costs and increase profits. Plus last year, revenues barely dropped during the winter quarters. I think AEY might be able to post small profits for the next 2 quarters vs prior year losses. Balance sheet is decent with .36/share in cash (.49/share including restricted cash).

Wildcard is who knows what happens with the broader markets. Really been struggling lately, and that may continue into 2023. But there's not many profitable listed stocks trading in the $1's that have reported revenue growth of 31%, 63%, 47%, and 61% during the last 4 quarters. AEY is one where I'd like to know what the sellers are buying instead.

Good luck. Hopefully you trimmed some on the sizable AH pop yest. We'll see what they say on the CC this morning. Probably more overpromise & underdeliver. They previously said Q4 would show progress toward profitability. Instead they took a big step back. Very disappointing.

We could spin this both ways, but next report is due in Middle of February. Which is a short wait, and the expectations of growth is the big key and I like it. Nether the less, I still want a flip and return.

Strong revenue comp as expected. But the Q4 bottom line stunk excluding the large PPP gain. Was hoping they'd get close to breakeven from operations with all that revenue. Instead the Q4 loss from operations more than doubled vs last year.

I'm hoping and maybe expecting a much better Q4, but could be setting myself up for a let down. Regardless price is oversold and volume has been very low.. Can't wait to read Annual report after the bell on Monday :)

They're not reporting late (they have til the end of the month). Just a week later than the past couple years. You may be onto something with the new CFO. Guess we'll find out Monday. Hopefully Q4 will be a step forward similar to the Q3 report.

I was wondering myself about why they didn't go with December 17, I tried to think from both positive and negative reasons as to why file late.

My immediate first thought is this company almost never files late.

Then I thought the usual covid, holidays, exc and eliminated those reasons.

Then I thought the new CFO could be the reason - needed extra time to settle in, so to speak, he just started September 7 so probably one good reason.

I doubt the trying to hide bad news, wouldn't really make sense.

I doubt they are doing it for Tax reasons, such as it would only be 3 market days to end of 2021.

My final thought on this was it's not that long now to just wait and see.

My other thought was the volume on this is so low and the following could is only 8. Perhaps very few no about this so I posted a little on some boards about AEY since it is undervalued IMO

I was going to load more and then realized that would be a greedy move since I own a lot already, although I always love to average down and never like to chase!

I agree the stock is an attractive risk/reward into earnings around $1.70. Went back through the fiscal Q3 earnings release & conference call transcript...sounded pretty positive. That's why I'm a little puzzled by the later report date. If it was a great quarter, you'd think they would report earlier than normal. Not later.

From what I remember it seems like they COULD, and I want to emphasize the word COULD and this is just my take on the last conference call, by getting a lot of the 5G work from several of the major Telecom companies. They also mentioned that they are just one of the several or many smaller companies receiving these contracts, so they really can't PR their stock based on this. Or something along those lines.

5G Cellular connections have increased dramatically this year, how much Revenue did AEY gain from this is at this point is unknown. What is known, is that AEY is definitely under valued at this point in time IMO :)

They seem to be releasing earnings about a week later than usual. Normally that's not a good sign. The numbers last quarter were somewhat encouraging and the commentary fairly bullish. Like they were going to show another quarter of strong revenue growth and the bottom line might improve to around breakeven. With profitability getting close. We'll see. At least they'll recognize that large PPP gain in the quarter.
