In my opinion this project will eventually get built and in production. There is no doubt in my mind that there was a liberal or "greenie" bias that has worked against the Pebble project. Just as in all cases, that can be reversed to a bias the other way with an administrative change. Neither bias should happen, but I am a realist.
If the next election goes the way I think it will, a lot of biases will be reversed very quickly. JMHO

Precious Metals going to the moon.. on a fast track up. It will only help NAK in the short term
and the long run.

The "locals" are optimistic about the mine which is Illiamna, not "locals" that are 90+ miles away. Special interests flooding into the area to buy land to prevent access, yes thats true.

The actual locals (Illiamna) struggle with alcohol abuse, sexual assault, insanely high cost of living, and nearly no decent paying jobs because there is no industry.

Always amazes me they show these pristine waterways when the pebble site is mainly barren tundra.

What the environmentalists dont tell you is most of those "fishing jobs" are immigrant labor, and people from lower 48 with fishing permits and the money heads straight out of Alaska. Immigrant workers always hitch hiking in Dillingham every summer id go out there so they could get to Icicle. They have shipping container housing for immigrant workers in Dillingham, I am sure King Salmon/Naknek is the same, immigrant workers.

Anyone seeking to reverse Pedro Bays restriction on the access way to the Pebble? It doesnt matter what the EPA does, the locals are fighting this to the very last which translates in to Your money invested in NAK is lost

Action Seeks to overturn EPA’s illegal veto 03.15.24 NEWS

One action, in Federal District Court in Alaska, seeks to vacate the Environmental Protection Agency’s (“EPA”) veto of a development at Pebble. This is the main focus of our legal actions. We are confident that the court will vacate the EPA veto and allow permitting of the Pebble project to resume because, as we have previously stated, the veto violated the law and was arbitrary and capricious. The complaint in this action alleges, among many other points, the veto was issued in violation of various federal statutes regarding Alaska’s statehood rights and a land exchange approved by Congress; it was based on an overly broad legal interpretation of EPA’s jurisdiction which has since been over-ruled by the Supreme Court; its geographic scope exceeds that allowed by the statute; it was based on information previously developed by EPA in an illegal preemptive veto process that was designed to reach a predetermined result; and the factual basis stated to support the veto is directly contradicted by the July 2020 Environmental Impact Statement published by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (“USACE”), which is an important part of the administrative record. The EPA has not demonstrated that either the development of the Pebble deposit will have unacceptable adverse effects under Section 404(c), or that there are any impacts to Bristol Bay fisheries that would justify the extreme measures in the final determination (veto).

Not checking other posts but note that pebble mine has begun its appeal in the AK 9th federal district court by filing on Feb 29. And I can see slight uptrend that speculators are likely aware.

You mean Pebble CEO Tom Colliers undercover video where he claims to have all of the Washington politicians in his back pocket, ya that went over with the Alaskan tribes like a fart in church sealing the fate of this pile of dirt.

Running in where others fear to tread can be a good strategy, however, in this case I would not be so sure. Pebble is facing some pretty epic hurdles and does not have a lot of support on the home field (Alaska residents by and large oppose the mine). This is the crushing blow from the EPA, and past vetoes by the EPA , made only three times in the last 30 years, suggest that Pebble has little hope of winning in court. Those high value share prices you mentioned never happend after the EPA's decision.

That was when the O/S wasnt 500+ million. Former Alaskan here and also former Miner that worked in Mining in Alaska, Pebble will be a huge economic benefit for Alaska. Sadly, it faces an endless uphill battle for permitting. Tom Collier sure as heck didnt help the situation.

unload at some point in time. My guess is that it wll be at a much higher price, which will happen sooner or later and I think NAK is loaded with potential. Big potential.

I think it peaked at 64 cents and dropped back to 50 cents. Drilling is paused for a couple of weeks. I think they plan to drill multiple holes if the money holds up -some are historically promising. > 2000 feet to find a large porphyry. Not sure why Pete became CEO other than line of capital or help fund FBLG if LBSR pans out.
