Nevada Joint Venture between Barrick Gold Corporation ("Barrick")
(NYSE:GOLD) (TSX:ABX) and Newmont Mining Corporation ("Newmont")

Goldcorp's board of directors continues to recommend that
Goldcorp shareholders vote FOR the proposed plan of arrangement
