Air Liquide SA said Monday that Walmart Inc.'s U.K. business Asda Group Ltd. selected it to install and operate six biomethane distribution stations.

The French industrial-gas supplier didn't disclose financial details for the "major" contract, under which Air Liquide will install and operate biomethane stations on six Asda sites to refuel both Asda trucks as well as trucks for some partners.

Air Liquide said the new stations would be operational by the first quarter of 2021.
