(NYSE: UBER), one of the leading ridesharing and delivery platforms, today announced the expansion of the two companies' vehicle sanitization and maintenance collaboration designed to help keep drivers, riders and vehicles moving safely. Building on the success of a five-month pilot program with Uber in Atlanta and Phoenix, RideKleen and Uber will activate 12 new markets over the next several months. As part of the program, Uber drivers are provided access to pre-purchase PureProtect vehicle sanitization, as well as traditional RideKleen wash and vac services. In addition, Uber drivers will have the ability to schedule basic vehicle maintenance on items, such as oil changes, tire repair, rotation and repair, wiper blade replacement, battery replacement and air filter replacements. These services are being performed at various remote depots within the metro area, including local dealerships, auto repair service centers, Uber GreenLight Hubs, airport surrounding areas and other convenient and accessible locations.
