Truist Financial Corp. (TFC) and the Atlanta Braves said Tuesday
that SunTrust Park, located in Cobb County, Georgia, will be
renamed Truist Park.
Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Truist and the Braves said the rebranding process will see the
stadium include the Truist logo and "signature color of Truist
Purple."
Major branding will be at the stadium in time for the Brave's
home opener on Friday, April 3. A full rebrand of the facility will
be in place by the Opening of the 2021 season, Truist and the
Braves said.
Truist also said it will refurbish one youth baseball field a
year over the next ten years, naming each field after former Brave
and Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Hank Aaron.
Truist Financial is a bank holding company, formerly known as
BB&T.
