AT&T Inc. (T) said its board approved a 2% increase in the company's quarterly dividend.

AT&T's quarterly dividend will increase to 52 cents per share from 51 cents.

The dividend is payable on Feb. 3 to stockholders of record at the close of business on Jan. 10.
