Crude Oil Prices Climbing, Energy Company Shares Follow

Shares of several oil and gas companies were rising Monday, as
crude prices continue to climb amid hopes that the U.S. and China
will iron out their trade differences.
Among the gainers were Murphy Oil Corp. (MUR). Just before 1
p.m. EST, the company's shares were trading 9.63% higher, at
$24.13. Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) was up 3.61%, at $12.48. Devon
Energy Corp. (DVN) was trading 5.53% higher, at $22.34, and
Occidental Petroleum shares were 4.75% higher, at $44.28. Chevron
Corp. (CVX) was trading 4.53% higher, at $121.47, Southwestern
Energy Co. (SWN) shares were 10.19% higher at $2.32 and shares of
Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) were up 2.95% to $71.65.
