The SWM Retirement Savings Plan II (the “Plan”) for Schweitzer-Mauduit International, Inc. (the “Registrant”) is unable to file its Form 11-K for the period ended December 31, 2018 within the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort or expense due to unanticipated delays in the completion of certain administrative steps related to the audit of the Plan financial statements. The Registrant fully intends to file the 11-K within the time frame mandated by Rule 12b-25.
