SMM Salient Midstream and MLP Fund

HOUSTON, Sept. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Salient Midstream & MLP Fund (the "Fund") (NYSE: SMM) provided today a summary of unaudited statement of assets and liabilities and announced Net Asset Value (NAV) as of August 31, 2020.

On August 31, 2020, the Fund's total assets were $127.4 million and the NAV per share was $5.60. On August 31, 2020, the closing share price of the Fund was $4.08, which was trading at a 27.1% discount to the NAV.¹ The Fund's NAV and market price total returns for the month of August were 3.3% and 4.3%, respectively, compared to 2.8% for the Alerian Midstream Energy Select Index (AMEI).²
