Pursuant to the requirements of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the registrant has duly caused this report to be signed on its behalf by the undersigned, thereunto duly authorized.

On October 13, 2020, IsZo Capital LP (“Claimant”) commenced legal proceedings against Nam Tai Property Inc. (the "Company") and other parties in the High Court of Justice of the British Virgin Islands of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court. The claims contest, among other things, that the private placement previously announced by the Company on October 5, 2020, was invalid and should be set aside, and the Claimant also seeks to require the Company hold a special meeting regarding the election of directors. In an order made ex parte, without notice to the Company, the Court granted the Claimant’s request for a preliminary injunction enjoining the Company from taking certain corporate actions pending additional hearings to be held before the Court. The Company has engaged legal counsel and intends to defend itself vigorously against these claims.
