Air Force Awards Lockheed Martin $62 Billion Contract for F-16 Foreign Sales

Military contractor Lockheed Martin Corp. was awarded a $62
billion 10-year contract for F-16 fighter jets for foreign
countries, the Defense Department said Friday.
The initial delivery order is for 90 jets and has a total value
of nearly $5 billion, the department said.
Work will be primarily done in Greenville, S.C., and Fort Worth,
Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2026.
