Plug Power Signs MOU for Demonstration of Fuel Cell-Powered On-Road Vehicles

Plug Power Inc. said it signed a memorandum of understanding
with Linde for the demonstration of Plug Power's ProGen fuel cell
engine in Class 6 and Class 8 vehicles.
The vehicles will be used by Linde for delivery of products,
Plug Power said. The company said the fleet of hydrogen fuel cell
vehicles is expected to be on the road in early 2021, the provider
of hydrogen engines and fueling solutions said.
Shares were up 1.5% to $12.26 premarket.
"Plug Power values our long-standing relationship with Linde,
and views Linde as a key strategic supplier of hydrogen fuel," Plug
Power CEO Andy Marsh said.
Plug Power said Thursday that Corine Dubruel joined the company
as vice president and managing director, Europe. Before joining
Plug Power, she held senior roles at electrification and energy
companies including ENGIE, General Electric and ABB.
Plug Power Inc. also said it is working with Apex Clean Energy,
a developer and operator of utility-scale wind and solar power
facilities.
Apex and Plug Power's collaboration agreement aims to accelerate
the shift to clean energy and mutually promote the advancement of
green hydrogen in the U.S., Plug Power said.
