Linde PLC said Thursday that it signed a contract with Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. to supply oxygen and nitrogen for a refinery in east India.

The industrial gases and engineering company said its subsidiary Praxair India would build and operate an air-separation unit to support the expansion of the refinery into an integrated petrochemical complex.

The unit is expected to be completed in October 2021, according to Linde. After completion, the plant will have a total combined gas capacity of 660 tons per day. The financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
