Shares of At Home Group Inc. (HOME) are rising in Wednesday's market, following media reports that Kohl's Corp. (KSS) is considering acquiring the home decor retailer.

At 3:47 p.m. ET, At Home shares had gained 8.93% to trade at $22.45. Volume was heavy, with more than 4 million shares trading, above the stock's 65-day average volume of some 1.6 million.

Kohl's shares were down 1.83% at $64.35. More than 4.5 million shares had traded, above the 65-day average volume of some 3.4 million.
