--An Apple Inc. (AAPL) credit card disclosed earlier this year and launched in collaboration with Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) is now available for certain customers, CNBC reported Tuesday.

--The Apple Card will be released to "a random selection of people who opted into the 'notify me' list that opened earlier this year," the CNBC report said.

--Apple has discussed features like an absence of numbers, which provides "a whole new level of security," and calls it "the first card that actually encourages you to pay less interest."
