Graham Healthcare Group, a subsidiary of Graham Holdings Company (NYSE: GHC), is intensifying its growth strategy of investing in joint ventures with hospital operators. The organization currently partners with 5 companies across 3 states to manage post-acute services and is pleased to announce that Shellé Jones has joined Graham Healthcare Group as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.

Previously, Jones was Vice President of Strategic Partnerships with Dallas-based AccentCare, Inc.

“Shellé has in-depth experience in post-acute care leadership roles in operations, sales, and strategy in the healthcare arena, ideally positioning her to take the lead in strategic partnerships with Graham Healthcare Group,” said David Curtis, CEO of Graham Healthcare Group Home Health and Justin DeWitte, CEO of Graham Healthcare Group Hospice.

“I am excited to be working with the team at Graham Healthcare to grow our organization through strategic partnership development,” said Jones. “When well executed, strategic partnerships enable our teams to deliver better care and improve outcomes for patients.”

In a time when projected growth of the US population over 65 is growing rapidly and reimbursement is increasingly tied to outcomes beyond the walls of acute-care settings, high performing home-based post-acute care assets are an essential tool in improving patient outcomes and driving improved profitability. With a history of successful home-based post-acute care operations, collaborative partnerships, and financial stability, Graham Healthcare Group is the ideal partner for health systems, physician groups, and senior living providers who either currently own home-based post-acute assets or would like to.

Jones will be instrumental in supporting Graham Healthcare's partner organizations to develop and execute an integrated home-based post-acute strategy that supports the unique needs of the communities they serve.
