ET -- Ford Motor Co. is one of the most talked about companies in the U.S. across all news items in the last 12 hours, according to Factiva data, after it recalled 518,993 vehicles in the U.S. due to the risk of under-the-hood fires caused by a cracked fuel injector. The automaker said Thursday it was recalling 2021 to 2023 Bronco Sports and 2020 to 2023 Escapes, and urged owners to have dealerships look at those vehicles and potentially replace cracked fuel injectors. The cause of the issue is still under investigation, Barrons reported. Ford shares are down 0.8%, at $13.92, for a fall of 33% so far this year. Dow Jones & Co. owns Factiva.
