Chevron Corp. has named Eimear Bonner as a vice president, the energy company said Monday.

Ms. Bonner will also continue in her previous role as the president of Chevron Technical Center and as the company's chief technology officer. In those jobs she oversees technology, research, development and digital strategy for Chevron.

Ms. Bonner, 47 years old, has worked at Chevron for 22 years. She was general director of Tengizchevroli in Kazakhstan, Chevron's largest joint venture. She has also held roles at Chevron in the U.K., Thailand, and the U.S.

Chevron also said that Joseph C. Geagea, the company's executive vice president of technology, projects and services, would retire sometime around March 1. He will have worked at Chevron for 40 years.

According to Chevron's website, the company has 11 vice presidents, excluding Ms. Bonner, and three executive vice presidents.
