Cigna Corp. on Wednesday said it named Noelle Eder global chief information officer, effective Sept. 14.

The Bloomfield, Conn., health-services company said Ms. Eder joins from Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc., where she had been chief information and digital officer.

A Cigna representative said Mark Boxer, who had been chief information officer since 2011, has retired.
