Coca-Cola Europacific Partners PLC said Thursday that pretax profit for the first half rose as revenue increased, and that its digital business was on track for record revenue in 2021.

The London-listed, independent Coca-Cola bottling company said that for the period ended July 2 pretax profit was 455 million euros ($538.8 million), compared with a profit of EUR211 million for the first half of 2020.

Revenue for the period rose to GBP5.92 billion from EUR4.84 billion the year before, it said.

"We are taking meaningful actions to adjust our cost base to be fit and competitive for the longer-term, and we continue to invest for future growth, particularly in digital, sustainability, our portfolio and our people," Chief Executive Damian Gammell said.
