--BP PLC plans to cut down its senior management team to around 120 people from 250 currently under CEO Bernard Looney, reports Reuters, citing internal company emails, confirmed by the company.

--Many executives who were in senior positions under former CEO Bob Dudley will leave in the coming months as BP restructures to diversify its focus, according to Reuters.
