Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On July 11, 2024, Bain Capital Specialty Finance, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it will (i) release its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2024 on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 after the close of the financial market and (ii) host a call on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time to discuss the financial results. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

BOSTON – July 11, 2024– Bain Capital Specialty Finance, Inc. (NYSE: BCSF, the “Company”) today announced it will report its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2024 on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 after market close.
