The Pentagon said Friday the U.S. Air Force modified a contract
with Boeing Co. (BA) to provide parts, repairs and technical
services for Joint Direct Attack Munitions.
The Joint Direct Attack Munitions kit converts conventional
ordnance to precision-guided munitions.
The modification extends the contract for five years and
increases the contract ceiling by $6.53 billion, to $10.04 billion,
the Pentagon said.
The modification involves foreign military sales to currently
unknown countries, the Pentagon said.
Work will be done in St. Louis and is expected to be done by the
end of February 2025.
