“Company”), clarifies that in connection with certain news reports
regarding an alleged criminal investigation in Argentina relating
to tax evasion, such investigation (i) was not conducted
against Avianca Holdings but against one of its subsidiaries
(Avianca Costa Rica S.A. Sucursal Argentina), and (ii) began
in March 2019 and was resolved in August 2020 in favor of Avianca
Costa Rica S.A. Sucursal Argentina for lack of legal basis.
