BY NEW MEMBERS OF THE COMPANY’S MANAGEMENT TEAM

Bogotá, June 28, 2019. Following up on the reports published in recent days by Avianca Holdings S.A. (“Avianca” or the “Company”), in relation to new members of the management team, we inform that among the objectives set for the new members of the Avianca management team are the consolidation of Avianca’s transformation plan, aimed at transitioning the Company from a growth model to one of profitability, achieving optimization of the fleet, strengthening its hub in Bogota and reducing the Company’s short-term debt level.
