The Fund attempts to reduce the risk of capital loss through, among other things, independent credit analysis focused on downgrade and default risks and the implementation of a clearly defined sell discipline strategy. The Fund will achieve its objective through a combination of current income, current gains and long-term capital appreciation. There is no guarantee that the Fund will achieve its investment objective. The use of leverage currently enables the Fund to borrow at short-term rates and invest at higher yields on its investments. As of July 31, 2022, the Funds leverage consisted of $130.0 million of borrowings made pursuant to margin financing and/or securities lending, which represented approximately 15% of the Funds total assets.
