Accenture PLC (ACN) on Thursday raised its fiscal 2020 financial outlook as it reported better-than-expected first-quarter results.

The professional-services company now sees full-year earnings of $7.66 to $7.84 a share, up from its prior outlook of $7.62 to $7.84 a share.

The company said it expects revenue to grow 6% to 8% in local currency during the year, narrower than the previously guided 5% to 8%.

Accenture said it continues to assume foreign-exchange impact to hurt its 2020 results by 1%.

For the second quarter, the company expects revenue of $10.85 billion to $11.15 billion, reflecting 5% to 8% growth in local currency. It said it assumes a negative 1% foreign-exchange impact compared with the same period last year.

Shares of Accenture rose 0.65% in premarket trading.
