Albertsons, Google in Partnership to Develop Tech Features

Albertsons Cos. has struck a technology partnership with
Alphabet Inc.'s Google to develop features such as shoppable maps,
the companies said.
The companies Tuesday said they have been collaborating "behind
the scenes" over the past year. They said they are also working on
integrating Google Pay for payments, using Google Cloud
artificial-intelligence technologies and a tool for predictive
grocery-list building.
