--Vodafone Group PLC will close 34 of its stores in Spain, affecting 237 employees, El Mundo reports, citing union sources.

--The telecommunications company said on Sept. 15 that it will fire up to 515 employees in Spain for economic, productivity and organizational reasons, though it has since revised that number down to 509, El Mundo reports.
