Tesla China Extends Model Y Long Range Delivery Time

Tesla extended the delivery time for the Model Y Long Range to
between six and eight weeks, according to Tesla China's website on
Monday.
Delivery time in China for two other versions of Model Y, Rear
Wheel Drive and Performance, remains between two and six weeks.
Last Friday, the electric-vehicle maker unveiled an updated and
China-made Model 3 with a longer range and higher price tag. It was
the first time that Tesla introduced a new model in China ahead of
the U.S.
Meanwhile, the electric-vehicle maker further slashed prices for
its Model S and Model X cars in China last Friday. That came just
two weeks after lowering the premium vehicles' prices in a bid to
clear inventory and boost sales in the world's largest EV market
amid intensifying price competition.
Tesla shares were down 5.1% at $245.01 at their previous
close.
