T-Mobile US Inc. (TMUS) and Viacom Inc. (VIAB) said Wednesday
they are in a content distribution agreement.
Under terms of the deal, Viacom's brands--including MTV,
Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET and Paramount--will be part of
T-Mobile's delivery of video services to consumers later this
year.
The deal enables T-Mobile to offer live linear feeds of Viacom
channels as well as a on-demand content to customers.
T-Mobile last year acquired Layer3 TV, and with that said it has
been readying home and mobile TV offerings.
