Starbucks Corp. named a new chief operating officer and promoted two other leaders.

The company said that as of June 28, John Culver will become the company's group president for North America and its COO. Michael Conway also will become group president for international and channel development. Starbucks also said Michelle Burns will become executive vice president for global coffee, tea and cocoa.

Mr. Culver has run the company's international division for the last 15 years and started at Starbucks almost two decades ago, the company said.

Mr. Conway has led the company's U.S. licensed stores and Canada businesses. He started at the company running channel development in 2013.

Ms. Burns has worked at the company for over 26 years. She currently runs global coffee, tea and cocoa.
