Biggest Gains in Social Responsibility in the Management Top 250 -- Journal Report

DexCom Inc.'s score for social responsibility increased more
than that of any other company in the latest Management Top 250
ranking. Regency Centers Corp. and Maxim Integrated Products Inc.
posted the second- and third-biggest gains, respectively, in this
category.
The Management Top 250 ranking, developed by the Drucker
Institute, measures corporate effectiveness by examining
performance in five categories: customer satisfaction, employee
engagement and development, innovation, social responsibility and
financial strength.
In the 2020 ranking, DexCom's score for social responsibility
rose 10.7 points from 2019, to 49.6. Regency's score in this
category rose 10.2 points, to 62.8, and Maxim's score rose 9.7
points, to 56.4.
DexCom also had the biggest gain of any company in the
Management Top 250 this year in its score for financial strength,
and the second-biggest increase in overall score. The company is
ranked No. 185 overall. Its highest ranking in any category is in
financial strength, where it is No. 33 among the more than 800
companies Drucker studied. It's No. 428 in social
responsibility.
Among the Management Top 250 companies with the 10 biggest gains
in social responsibility, Target Corp. is ranked highest for the
category, at No. 12.
