Item 8.01 Other Events
On April 15, 2020, MetroCity Bankshares, Inc. announced the declaration of a quarterly cash dividend of $0.11 per share on its common stock. This dividend is payable May 8, 2020, to shareholders of record as of May 1, 2020. A copy of the press release announcing the cash dividend is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
