NGNM – Solid Third Quarter Results

For all you happy CLRT investors, I still think everyone should give a long hard look at NGNM, and listen to the most recent third quarter conference call.

The company just reported solid third quarter results, with revenue growth of 19% YoY and volume growth of 29% YoY. I think management did a great job on the conference call and seem to be making all of the right moves. With much of the heavy lifting now behind the company, business should begin to improve each quarter going forward, and probably one of the reasons why management was comfortable enough to provide 2011 estimates. NGNM now expects 2011 revenues to be in the range of $41-45 million, which would imply a 25-30% increase in sales next year, and an increase from the 15-18% expected revenue growth in 2010.

Clearly, the business has bottomed and the business model has reached critical mass.

NGNM at $1.10 is way undervalued and great opportunity for any small-cap investor, and I still believe NGNM is going to be a big winner, even more than ever, after listening to the third quarter conference call.

thanks for this. i was the author of both articles on CLRT and was very disappointed to see them purchased at such a discount. $5 is chump change. MammoStrat and similar tests would have brought them in a lot of revenue.

CLRT Investors - NGNM worth paying attention to at $1.10

Congrats to all those investors in CLRT and BioMedReports for writing up the company last month.

NGNM is another cancer diagnostics company that i've been following and worth a real hard look at these levels. They've got a great management team lead by CEO Van Oort, the former COO of Quest Diagnostics and Covance who wrote his own $500,000 check to join the company back in March 2009. Abbott Labs (ABT) also invested $4.8 million in July 2009, at $1.36 per share, and is a 10% shareholder.

NGNM continues to growth the business and on pace to generate around $35 million in sales this year. With new cancer tests coming to market and a great relationship with ABT, NGNM is undervalued and well positioned.

At 5x sales, which is what GE just paid for CLRT, NGNM would fetch $4-5 per share.

CLRT was purchased by GE today for $5 per share. That's more than 50% above the price from my initial article on Clarient.

CLRT--Alright, just when I thought nothing juicy would come through today, this came through. Insider buy, 50,000 shares at $2.44. Stock is currently trading at $2.71 (at close today). This stock has traded as high as $4.43 this year, is closer to the low than the high of the year. Has a 53 million share float! Nice Nasdaq stock. I will be adding in the morning. Clarient Launches New Lung Cancer Test PR Newswire    "US Press Releases "

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. , Feb. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Clarient, Inc. (Nasdaq: CLRT), a premier technology and services resource for pathologists, oncologists and the pharmaceutical industry, today announced the commercial launch of a new lung cancer test, Clarient Insight® Dx Pulmotype® Test, that helps physicians classify specific types of lung cancer to identify which therapies may be most effective. The new test has been clinically validated to use in the sub-classification of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), which accounts for approximately 85 percent of the more than 200,000 lung cancer cases diagnosed each year.

"Pulmotype provides pathologists with a valuable new tool to help their oncologist clients understand which patients are eligible for a number of new therapies now available for the treatment of NSCLC," said Chief Executive Officer Ron Andrews . "Its ability to accurately sub-classify lung cancer will enable physicians to make much more informed and effective therapy decisions. We have built a very strong breast cancer franchise and established Clarient as the 'go-to' laboratory for complex breast cancer testing. The Pulmotype test consists of a panel of biomarkers that allows physicians to classify NSCLC into adenocarcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma subtypes, which are key distinctions in choosing the most effective therapy. Newly developed targeted therapies can be very effective but can also be very toxic depending on the patient and his or her disease characteristics.

North American Cable Operators Will Rollout An Average of Five Interactive Applications in 2002; Installed Base of Digital Cable Set-Top Boxes Surge 62%


BOSTON, Apr 9, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- New research from TRACE strategies has
found that the 12 largest North American cable operators will deploy a combined
9.39 million digital set-top boxes in 2002, which will result in a 62% increase
in the industry's installed base. This discovery is taken from TRACE strategies

The analysis has also determined that the 2002 North American digital cable
landscape will rollout interactive applications and build new vendor

Total Vision of the Gulf States, LLC, located in Gulf Shores, Alabama, to

Artesian Direct may get infusion of $5 million

Liberty Lake-based Artesian Direct announced Tuesday that a Midwest investment group is providing up to $5 million in financing to help the company expand its business operations.

The money is coming in two chunks, said Artesian Direct CEO Cris Hollingsworth.

A "significant amount of money" has been given to Artesian Direct now. The rest will be invested as the company reaches target figures for sales and revenue, he said.

Artesian Direct distributes a set of home and business Internet appliances that give customers simple, one-box delivery of information and video entertainment services. Those devices can be used for video on demand or high-definition digital TV.

In return for the investment, the Midwest company is acquiring equity in Artesian Direct, a privately held company. Hollingsworth did not disclose what share the investors acquired.

The investment means Artesian Direct "can get much more aggressive in expanding our operations," said Hollingsworth. He anticipates doubling the number of employees by the end of the year, from about 18 now to around 40.

Disclosure of the investment group's name will follow a review of the agreement by attorneys and Securities and Exchange Commission officials.

"The main concern expressed to us by our own legal counsel is to make sure there are no conflicts of interest," said Hollingsworth.

He said the investment group has significant holdings in several major publicly traded companies.

Artesian also announced plans to form a strategic partnership with Celerity Systems, an East Coast company also distributing its own line of high-end set-top boxes and Internet appliances.

Under a plan that won't be finalized until late August, Artesian Direct will purchase shares in Celerity, based in Knoxville, Tenn.

In return, Artesian Direct gets exclusive rights to sell Celerity products in some areas of the Northwest, plus preferential pricing on those devices.

Celerity Systems, Inc. announced that Markus Camfield has joined Celerity as its Purchasing Manager. Mr. Camfield comes to Celerity from Computational Systems, Inc., where he was Senior Buyer.

The Future of Interactive TV is Everything on Demand

nCUBE President, Michael J. Pohl, offered his vision of the interactive TV market at NAB 2001's "Interactive Lifestyles - Personalizing the Net" Super Session. In his remarks at the "Interactive Television: Technology in Search of a Market" session, Pohl asserted "the future of streaming media lies with personalizing the consumer's TV experience."

nCUBE has been involved in the development of interactive TV technology since 1993. Pohl has overseen the company's growth as a leader in providing streaming media solutions for all broadband networks, including DSL, IP and cable. The company announced earlier at NAB the largest video on demand deployment in the world to date with It's TV, a Korean-based interactive TV service provider.

"The notion that we are about to witness the death of TV as we know it is nonsense," said Pohl. "Rather, it's a natural extension of the multichannel video business. The difference is that in the future viewers will be able to create their own program lineups."

Pohl emphasized that "everything on demand," or "Demand TV" is "not about every exotic interactive TV feature that anyone can dream up. It's not a refrigerator telling the TV to order a frozen pizza; it's not even solely entertainment, because personal learning and educational content will play an important role."

"Streaming makes possible the true personalization of the TV experience," said Pohl. "It's not only about time shifting among a limited menu of that day's or week's offering by the networks, but expanding the menu itself to embrace everything rights holders choose to make available."
